Our Story

Back in 2013, our family bought a fishing lodge in Blissfield NB on the Miramichi River. What began as a fishing lodge quickly became a place where our family gathered, where weekends were spent on the river, evenings ended around the fire, and some of our favourite memories were made. 

Today, we’re proud to be the second generation caring for the Old River Lodge - the daughter, granddaughter, and niece. Three women born and raised in New Brunswick who grew up loving this river. 

Our crew has spent countless hours renovating cabins, improving the property, and creating spaces that feel warm, welcoming and true to what the Old River Lodge has always been.

To us, Old River Lodge isn’t just a place to stay. It’s early mornings watching the mist rise over the river. It’s afternoons spent exploring the woods or river. It’s evenings around a campfire with the people you love. It’s a chance to slow down, reconnect, and make memories that last long after the trip is over.
